Huh? Are you asking if you have to take it if offered? Or if you took it, do you have to report the scores when applying to college?

In both cases, the answer is no. It's purely optional. You can take it if you want or you don't. SAT is actually the same, but if you want to go to 4 yr college, then you'll have to take it (or the ACT). PSAT is optional in that case. Since it's colleges don't care whether you take it or not, you don't have to put it down when applying. You can (like if you're a National Merit semi-finalist or something), but it's not necessary.

in my school no for 10th graders but i took them anyways and its a good idea but u have to take them in 11th grade no matter what. but i think it works differntly for all schools so ask your guidance
