Sometimes periods are late for reasons like stress, diet, weight changes, hormones, or just because. To be sure, take another pregnancy test in one week. With my last pregnancy, I KNEW I was pregnant, but my first test was negative-since I had a 3 pack, I took another test 3 days later and it was positive, and 8 months later I had a daughter.

Your pregnancy test results could be wrong. Sometimes they are not accurate.

But maybe you're not pregnant. Sometimes, for reasons unknown, your menstrual period will be late. Sometimes excitement or stress can bring on a period sooner or later.

There can also be other physical reasons I know.

I would give it another week or ten days. If you have not started by then, you might take another pregnancy test. Whether it shows up positive or negative, you should get checked by your gynecologist.

Good luck!

Sometimes my period is months late, especially when I am stressed out, or I work out a lot.
Wait a few more days and take the test again.

Could be anything. I really wish people would read the boxes of the tests. you shouldn't test befroe two weeks being late. There isn't enough hormone in your urine to test positive. If it doesn't come after being two weeks late, then i would test again. In the mean time, don't stress over it. Stress, not eating properly and not getting sleep are reasons for being late.

It could be many things. There could be something wrong with your body or your body just may be changing. I had this happen last month when i'm usually very predictable. Have you been hanging around a different group of women? Cycles of women tend to mimmick each other. Any change in diet, exercise patterns, weight loss/gain as they can all be factors too. Try not to stress over it, relax and see what happens.. Good luck to you!
