True enough, you can't disprove God. But you are missing the major point that in science one is not supposed to believe something until it is proven. One is supposed to believe nothing and test everything for as close to objectiveness as possible.
When you hear scientists deny God, it is because He has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. You can point out the Bible (or any other of the books like the Qu'ran or the Talmud and so on) and their records of miracles and such, but since you didn't actually see them you can't say for certain they happened. It is a matter of faith for you.
Now what I do disagree with is that there are so many scientists who say evolution happened for sure when that has not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt either. It hasn't been disproven, but it hasn't been proven for sure. But they believe it and try to reinforce the idea in others anyway, violating the core principle of science of waiting until after complete testing of the hypothesis before believing and spreading it as true.
Both evolution and creation are matters of faith (and in some cases, are not even mutually exclusive in terms of beliefs).

I'm sorry, but nobody can either prove or disprove the existance of God.
The meaning of (dis)proof is, that you can make it clear to everybody beyond any doubt, and everybody can accept the facts and the reasoning to be logical and true.
Religion can never be proven nor disproven: As long as people hold firmly on to their religions, those religions are not disproven, even though you may think that things are clear: You may believe, as yet another religion, that you disproved that religion.
You can undermine some parts of a religion by disproving some parts by historical or archeological facts, but never all of it, because most of all religions is about virtual stuff, facts that are no "real" facts, like the belief in the existance of some higher intelligence.
Furthermore, there are as many different meanings of what God is, as there are people believing in God: From "an old man with a beard in heaven" up to "love", so pick your pick first.
Many religious fights and wars were caused by misunderstandings about meanings of words like "God".
By the way, atheism is a religion too: It is the belief of the non-existance of a God. I think that agnosticism is the non-religion.
Do not mistake physical theories with religions, what some people claim. (The theories of relativity are sometimes said to be a religion by persons, who never had -or wanted to have- proper access to the underlying mathematics and who do not know what physics actually is all about, how physics really works.)

I'm not sure you can disprove a religion. Anyone can make a claim and form a religion or sect that would include many or few followers. Christianity is considered a way of life and we follow a set of rules, laws, commands, whatever you may call them, and we choose to believe that these rules are essential to a successful society that strives to live in harmony. Not everyone agrees with christianity or any other belief but to disprove the validity of the claims made by Jesus, or to disprove that there is only one God and that He is the creator of all is impossible, no matter how many brilliant minds may try. We have to remember that man throughout history has made many attempts and we still today have believers and followers. I believe that Jesus is the son of God, but the other beautiful thing about christianity is that whether you accept that or not, the faith still summons us to love one another and to get along with one another inspite of our differences. ,,,,Come to think of it, I wouldn't want to disprove that.

Firstly I would disagree that anyone can disprove a religion. Followers of particular religions seem not to have this ability.
Secondly, No, it is impossible to prove that there is no God. That being said it is impossible prove there is one. It is however possible to prove that a large number ofpeople on the earth are worshipping the wrong God if there is one and are therefore devoting their lives to nothing.
Hope this helps.

No.
It is extremely hard to disprove a belief that cannot be observed, is not tangible, or cause and effect can not be determined.
For example, if I sit on my roof every Christmas Eve for 35 years and I never see Santa Claus - it proves only that I have not seen him - it does not prove he doesn't exist.
If I spread shredded paper on my lawn every spring to keep the elephants away and I never have an elephant problem - it does not prove that shredded paper keeps elephants away. If I forget one year and I still don't have an elephant concern - it still doesn't prove that shredded paper isn't a good elephant repellent.
As you can see, a thousand positive results does not prove a theory is a fact - but only one exception will doom it to failure. There can be no exception for God - and positive results are based on faith.
Faith answers questions that science can't answer. And man will always have plenty of questions.

I disagree with your statement; a religion is a set of beliefs, and you can't disprove a belief. You might be able to talk someone out of it, but that doesn't count as "disproving."

If God exists, you can prove he exists provided He is cooperative; that is, He's willing to move a few galaxies around for you or something. You cannot disprove his existance, though, because it can always be countered that, being omnipotent, He's able to hide better than Bigfoot. We can't even prove Bigfoot doesn't exist.

You can't disprove something that is based on faith.
Mind, a lot of science points to Intelligent Design (And believe me, a lot of scientists don't like that).

God and religion are supernatural concepts, which means that they are in general beyond either proof or disproof. However, some religions do make assertions that are contrary to demonstrable fact; for example, claims that the world is less than 10,000 years old.
