A very popular scanlation group called Shoujomagic has direct downloads available on their website if you're a registered member (free!). Shoujomagic has many good title like Love Monster, Desire Climax, Love Celeb and the like. There are often works of popular mangaka(manga author) on their so you should really check it out, sometimes the downloads wont work so below is also a link to their myspace download topic.
Do you already read shoujo manga? If you have favorites, it might be a good idea to head over to manganews.net, and look up your favorite mangaka, and what groups are scanlating their works.
Shoujomagic also has a tutorial for using IRC (a chatting program), IRC is very popular with scanlation groups, and they tend to host their releases longer on IRc so it might be a good idea to use IRC if you have any problems, or need more clarification you can contact me at mantehbunnies@yahoo.com
