Over the years, I’ve heard hundreds (if not thousands) of people state they like Burger King hamburgs but don’t like their fries. They further state their desire for Burger King hamburgers with McDonalds fries. However, your average person is not going to travel to both restaurants and wait for each item as the other gets cold. This is where my ingenious idea comes to play. I will reconstruct my kitchen room & dining room into restaurant fully equipped with tables, stools & chairs. I’m going to hire 2 teenagers that will travel to McDonalds for fries & Burger King for Burgers every half hour. This brings the 2 products to the customer – nicely, quickly & hot!!!! What I need at this point is information where to buy the large McDonald and Burger King signs they have outside their restaurants to put outside my house. Where do I get them?

Ok, first of all if you do it without a legal business license you're looking at a lawsuit.

Secondly, you'll have to be involved with both franchises, paper work, the whole nine yards. If you don't consult these places before doing it, again..you're looking at a lawsuit because you're using their copywrited material.

Now, over where I live we have a Taco Bell that also serves Pizza Hut food, so it's possible that two companies can merge, but it has to be within agreement.

On the other hand, if you skip the signs of both establishments and go for just a "delivery" service, then that might be the lesser route. You're delivering something to someone, without advertising it. I would highly suggest talking to someone dealing with business law before you try starting up your own business.

Unless you're willing to be sued by both restaurants I'd suggest you make up your own name (like "King McD" or something so they know what they're getting and keep you from paying a large fine) and get a business license too. There's a bunch of red tape involved with starting a business. Leverage the system so it works for you, not against you. Great idea though, I'd try it.

You cannot do this. You would be infringing on the trademark of each company, by reselling their product without a license.
Plus, you trust 2 teenagers to actually get the fries to your house WITHOUT eating a bunch?

hire those youngsters, wait till the two eating places are closed (or in case you reside in a close-by the place they are open all night, till they are 'sluggish') and have them in simple terms pull down the triumphing warning signs. That way you do no longer could desire to spend all your perplexing-earned funds on stupid warning signs! and each employer could be greater effective than satisfied to enable you to have them, given which you're making certain them corporation, acceptable? Yeah acceptable.

Neither company will allow you to franchise both restaurants in the same location. Nice idea, but it ain't gonna happen.
