Flordia or Michigan

The two teams that come out on top of the 8-team playoff. Oh wait, Division I-A football doesn't employ a playoff, for shame. Without doubt, Ohio St. has proven itself worthy of its #1 ranking. As for #2, I definitely think Michigan is a better team than Florida. The whole debate would be solved if we could just have Florida and Michigan play each other, but instead the BCS voters decided to punish Michigan for finishing their season a few weeks before Florida. I hate the idea of a rematch, but Michigan deserves to be in Tempe.

Ohio State should definitely be in. I assume that is a given.

Aside from that, I think the arguments for both Florida and Michigan are even. Personally, I think that Michigan should go and are not going because the voters decided that they would do whatever it took to make sure they did not.

Florida. Didn't think we needed to rehash this again, but I guess the Michigan morons reared their ugly heads again, so here we go:

Florida had more wins vs. non-losing teams than Michigan (9 vs. 6).
Florida had more wins vs. teams with winning records than Michigan (7 vs. 4).
Florida had more wins vs. top 25 teams than Michigan (3 vs. 2).
Florida won its conference, Michigan didn't.

If it were a one-game season and we based it all on who you couldn't beat, then Michigan might have an argument. But we don't, so they don't.

Michigan, without a doubt. Their only loss was to the #1 team and Florida's only loss was to a #?-ranked team. It's still a Michigan edge!

Florida is already in yet all of us comprehend how large the BCS equipment may well be so we don't comprehend that yet. If Oklahoma loses then it somewhat is going to be Florida/Texas. If Oklahoma wins Oklahoma/Florida. USC won't get in. Sorry Trojan followers yet another offseason of you adult men crying approximately getting screwed even inspite of the shown fact that they screwed themselves.
