My first and last name were typed on a webpage by accident, but then deleted. I searched my first and last name on Yahoo! and Google and they still show up on both! Is there any way to remove your name from a search listing? Not delete the internet history, but actually remove a page of content from a search? Thanks.

Do they actually link to the page where you have erased the information? If so, you don't have to worry. If the info shows up, you need to contact that web site to remove it.
The search engines like Google store copies of web pages when they do the search, so the page with your name was snapshot by them at some point. It will go away soon when they refresh the information, but there is nothing you can do in the mean time...
