well, Nicole Richie isn't a good role model at all. She has serious health priblems with eating and is not an alcoholic. I would stop looking up to her but Paris Hilton isn't bad. She's just dumb. That doesn't mean she's a bad role model because it's really hard to stay off of drugs when in Hollywood as a young famous acteress. Also, I would look up to Paris for not being Anorexic or belimic because if u look at all the acteress' in Hollywood. They are all little toothpicks and if ur even a little overweight they gawk! And Paris doesn't start having eating disorders even if they were to gawk at her. I know they dont tho because she is already skinny enough but still give her props for not doing anything wrong as I know of her of not. ;)

first of all, i am not a hard core feminist, but nicole richie and paris hilton ruin everything that women have worked all these years for equality in the society. their life styles are only good for rich people like them, not ordinary ppl. i am not saying that is wrong to buy an expensive sexy dress to impress a guy, that is not bad. but the way paris hilton sleeps with everyone is so bad, i mean they tell women that they should just give themselves to guys without thinking. i like their some qaulities like not trying too much to impress others and be free but there should be a limit. so having them as your role models is not such a good idea..

Why would anyone look up to Nicole Richie or Paris Hilton??? Neither have contributed anything substantial to the world. There is no point to their existence really except for an example of how not to act /be. Why do young people idolize pop culture figures instead of people who actually contribute? You want someone to idolize? Mother Theresa, Jane Goodall, Bill Gates, Steve Irwin...come on!!

Absolutely not the chicks to have as a role model.
However, I do find them to be like a train wreck. As horrible as they can be, I find it hard not to see what shenanigan they're up too next.
I tend to be in awe at how they act even though they have so much money. Without respect for themselves and others.

Defianatley not. Try someone like Oprah, she's a really good role-model. You can admire who ever you want, just not a drug-addict.!!!

Well you're obviously worried about it but it's your choice.. Like who you want to like but you seem mature enough to know not to go down the same route as Nicole etc.
