I want to know whether a nose ring would suit my nose. All the people I know that have nose rings have long, straight noses. My nose is more like a donut (timbit). For indians, my nose is like a mini sized ladoo. completely a circle..not at all long and straight. but i'd love to have a nose ring. i tried a stone bindi and put it on my nose as a nosering. it didnt look so great. but often people find some things great on me that i dont think look nice on me. plus, wats a nosering that is not a stone but is like a small loop circle with a opening. u just put it on, a piercing is not required. is there a special name to it.

Hi, Krishnaveni. Decorating the nose with a nose ring is an age-old fashion that has become an integral part and style of beautification. Your mini sized ladoo would definitely be appeared more beautiful with a hole and cute nose ring. A ring with oval shaped diamond would bring an angelish look on your face. Good luck!

Why wear one in the first place. When one goes job-hunting, nose rings and tatoos are the first things that get people get disqualified for, when looking for a specific job in the business field. Now, in places like McDonald's and the like, it makes no difference, but in the real business world, no decent, self-respecting person would even DARE wear a nose ring in an office environment. Retail, as well. Those things are a "turn-off" to a potential customer, and companies lose money because of that. Just stick to the self-piercing ones for home use, and File-13 it for work, whatever field you are in.

Try a clip on....once i wanted to know what i would look like if i had my nose pierced i went to an Indian shop and got one of the bindis ( which you have already tried ) and tried it on. i no it doesn't last for long sometimes its comes off because of the stickiness but you might as well try a clip on one.
