Actually, latest research shows that elephants CAN jump. A bit and not very easily.

What could happen is a very serious injury. Even a tiny fraction of an elephant's leg bones would be very hard to heal, due to the tremendous stress on the bone from the weight of the animal.

Then all the elephants in the world would jump simultaneously and the earth would wobble off it's orbit and we would spin into the sun and die. But not really. I don't actually know what would happen. Maybe their legs would break under their own weight.
