You're not shallow, but you don't sound very fussy. I like that in a man! lol

It's good that you are open minded toward the true beauty of women. I wouldn't say shallow, but try not using the word "babe" or "hot mama". It may be a little offensive to some. Anyhow, all women are beautiful in some way. (Even that crazy lady that lives down the block and personally gives you a bikini for Christmas, is beautiful in some way)
Need a man to take care of her? I don't think so. But need a man to love them? Definitly so. But of course, everyone wants to be loved.

Shallow is finding only outward appearance, financial standing, or family lineage appealing instead of the person as a whole. So yes by that definition you are because you are still judging by outward appearance.
But honestly since you think ALL women are beautiful, no woman is going to care. Women want to feel or be thought of as beautiful. That is how we're shallow. So in the end, it doesn't hurt anyone.
Don't worry about it.

I also think it's great that you are open and appreciative to the inner beauty of all women. However, I do not need a man to take care of me. Despite me being a housewife with my husband being the "breadwinner", I don't "need" him. Yes, I love him with all of my heart and soul and thank God for the blessing of him in my life. (Why God blessed me with such a wonderful man, I'll never know; It baffles me.)
However, having no kids, I'm not a "mammas". Also, being a fully developed 29-y-o woman, I'm also not a "babe".

Okay, mister, you're not shallow. It's just, not all people, including us women, think that way about ourselves and others. Some women are highly independent and don't want to think about needing a man to "take care of them". As individuals, we are capable of taking care of ourselves, some women just choose to take advantage of men like you, and have you take care of them. But no, you are not shallow.

You aren't shallow because you think all women are beautiful. You are shallow because you think all women need a man to take care of them.

Personally, I think it's sweet to say that all women are beautiful--however, you will get attacked for saying that women need a man to take care of them. I am far from being a feminist, I love my husband, I would say I even need him--but that still has an offensive ring to it.
To say that "they need a man to take care of them" implies that women are like children, unable to take care of their basic needs if left alone.
