and identify the yellow gauge in front of the ship's wheel?

It looks like a rudder angle indicator, but it doesn't below there. There should be a magnetic compass there. What probably happened is when the ship was decommissioned the compass was removed and used elsewhere. Someone who doesn't know about bridge equipment mounted the device in the picture on the empty binnacle.

It is the helm indicator showing the position the helmsman has the rudder in. Right goes from 5 to 80 degrees and left the same. Just in front of it is the ships compass with the degaussing ball shown just ahead and to the left.
