I mean i know they are just famous people bickering. but think about it. Rosie first most is a comedian who basically stated facts he did have a wife and a mistress divorce etc. he goes and says personal things like she is ugly and a loser etc. and then says he wants to sue her because she said he went bankrupt. which is another true fact is it not? I was just wondering could she sue? I dont care for either of them not like a pro Rosie anti Donald or anything just wondering.

The question is would she WIN if she sued him. That would be up to a jury. Based on the posts to your question - this "jury" wouldn't find in her favor. I'm sure The Donald is coached by his lawyers on what to say and to keep it opinion based - which is not defamation regardless how insensitive it is. Plus every time she says something in retaliation, that diminishes her case against him. You can't be protaginistic and then cry foul. Great Question!

Sure Rosie could sue Donald, but she has said things about him as well, Like he is the Miss America pimp, and he has a terrible comb over, etc. The court would laugh at claims of physical insults, However you can make a very good slander case about the bankruptcies. Donald Trump has never filed bankruptcy, I'm not saying a company that was owned by his corporation did not, but you can't legally say that he personally had filed.

Public figures have a harder time winning defamation cases. Plus, most of the stuff he says are opinions and not stuff you can quantify.

If either sues the other one, the person bringing the lawsuit would almost certainly lose. I'm pretty sure they both know this and are just playing to the media for attention.

If you feel like you have been damaged in some way by what someone said, then yes, you can file suit against the person who damaged you. If Rosie feels damaged by what Donald said, then she can sue him. There is no guarantee on the success of the lawsuit but it could be filed. Likewise, he could do the same. If either one of them does file, it would be testimony to me of how petty they each are. They should get on with their own lives. It isn't like they cross paths or are forced to do business with each other. As celebrities, they are fair game to public media attention. They both know that and should have accepted that by now. If we can't laugh at ourselves, acknowledging our own foibles, then we have some maturing to do. Perhaps they both fall into that category.

as a results of fact he's a pompous, thinks he's god's present to the worldwide, funds-grubbing comprehend-it-all. She became purely commenting on the completed omit u . s . fiasco. Donald basically handed off to communicate with the determination making as he owns area of the omit American Pagent. besides, Rosie became basically pointing out that Donald wasn't one to talk approximately being a ethical character on the grounds that he himself were married, divorced, re-married, re-divorced, bankrupt, not self-made as a results of fact he keeps a technique or the different coming lower back. Anyone can sue anyone else. If you've got the money you can easily fine an attorney with the time.

Rosie is a public figure. It would be very, very difficult for her to win.

Let's see, he called her fat: she is: Said she was a loser and mentioned her failed magazine. Sounds like a loser to me. She's ugly: most dogs wouldn't play with her unless there was a pork chop hanging around her neck.

So the answer to your question would be no..............

he has said nothing about her that was not true..
he spoke with many lawyers before he ever made any comment about her...
she on the other hand is dumb and ran her mouth..
telling lies about him going bankrupt...
she is guilty of slander... she can't win at this point
she will probably loose more than she ever dreamed
