Normal. Certain areas darken out during puberty.

the area u are describing is where ur foreskin would be if u were not circumsized - because it was supposed to be covered by a layer of skin the end of the shaft just before the head is not only lighter in color but more sensative to the touch - no problem - mine is the same way - i am also white and my shaft is dark coming out then pink about 3/4 of an inch before the head

That is the scar from your circumcision. When the foreskin is cut off, the inner layer of penile skin (which used to be covered by the foreskin) is exposed. Since this skin was always covered, it is almost always lighter than the regular skin of the penis. Nothing to worry about.

Yup, don't fret about it. Pay attention to other skin issues like dryness or flakiness. Lots of friction happens down there! Guys should make use of a penile creme (like Man1 Man Oil) if they notice that's a problem for them.

Same here. As mine goes out past the circumcision scar, it is lighter in tone. I guess that's normal. I never thought it was not normal.

The lighter skin is where your foreskin used to be. The missing foreskin was the same color as the darker part of your penis. It is perfectly normal.

it's the difference between the shaft skin and the inner foreskin that was left when you were circumcised. it's supposed to look that way. the darker skin is penile shaft skin. the lighter skin is the inner lining of the your foreskin that was cut off. the doc excised the shaft skin there, but left the inner, sensitive skin.

Why is this a problem? Everyone is unique and different. It is actually kind of cool that you have this unique feature! If you think it is a rash go see about it, other wise live life and have fun!

Quite common. Nothing you can do about it. It's partly a result of the circumcision, but there's nothing medically wrong, and nothing you can do to correct it.
