There is the Jazz and Blues Festival in January and Reggae Sumfest and Sunsplash in the Summer.Go to the Jamaica Tourist Board website for dates and any other events and Festivals I may have missed. The more hard core shows such as Dance Hall Shows you will not find there however. Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay from Jan 25-27.Lots of other great events coming up like carnival in April and two summer reggae festivals in July and August.

Unless you are way into pot, Jamaica is a mistaica.... way over rated and not worth it... head to Grand Cayman instead.
