Has he been checked for diabetes? High blood pressure? For me this is a big red flag that something is wrong. He should see his doctor. And he shouldn't be embarrassed, as every doctor has heard similar stories hundreds of times!

If there is no medical problem, then he should do whatever he can to lower stress levels. It's not your fault. You sound very caring. Some women would ridicule him, and that would make it worse. But chances are he has an underlying medical problem that needs to be dealt with ASAP. When the problem is fixed, whatever it is, his sex problems should decrease, although some medicines do interfere with sexual performance. Getting him well is the important thing. Undiagnosed diabetics can go blind, lose toes, or damage kidneys. If that's his problem, then sex is only a tiny part of the picture. Good luck to both of you!

I'm assuming he's young - under 30? In which case, the most common problem is stress. Either at work, or in his personal life. You pushing him about it will not help - quite the opposite. Tell him you don't care if he gets hard or not, and that sex isn't very important to you anyway. Take a break - no touching for a couple of weeks. Don't expect sex to happen after that, just let it happen when he gets in the mood. He needs this break. If you get frustrated in the meantime, masturbate.

It could be any number of things that can cause this. From mental stuff he doesn't realize, to cardiovascular problems. Tell him that this is a normal problem. This actually has nothing to do with you, so don't feel bad...ok? He may have to start to see a doctor to get some treatment for this. Best of luck to you.

It could be one of many things...if this is of great concern, which I know it is, it may be best for him to see a urologist. Sometimes this can happen if men are under a lot of stress, not getting enough rest, drugs, prostate problems, I think the list could go on. Seek medical advice on this one and stay supportive!! Good Luck
