I've been watching some korean drama shows recently...and im really liking them!!! its like American soap operas (which im NOT fond of at all), but have so many twists, its karazy!! its very addicting...let's see, i've watched FULL HOUSE, with Rain (you know, that korean dude. haha), WINTER SONATA (which is one of the greatest things on the planet), and im currently watching "A LOVE TO KILL", also starring Rain. the story so far is wonderful! i've also noticed that the music plays a MAJOR part of the drama (any drama), and im also listening to some of that.
" my girl" and "princess's hours" is also nice...They are both Korean drama.
and for Taiwan drama maybe "Hana kimi"?
Acted by Ella from S.H.E and wu zun from fahrenheit (if you know them, they are chinese singers)
It is on show in Taiwan now.
The story is originally from a manga.
I had only watched the 1st epi in youtube and the story is very alike to its manga.
The same goes to "princess hours", "devil besides you" and "it started with a kiss".
They are all intially from manga.

Since this is the movie section I just wanted to recommend one historic one. Filmed in 59 or so I think is a movie called "Hiroshima mi Amour" I think I have the spelling right. It was filled in post war Hiroshima by a famous Japanese director and is about the love story between a European woman and a Japanese man. Set in actual post war Hiroshima and won some awards for cinematography, etc. at the time. I found a copy at the library on DVD to watch as hard to find at any video rental places. Is in French I think with English subtitles available. As the two characters ponder "what to do" about their love they each take a wandering rambling trek through nighttime Hiroshima that is visually stunning and definitely a time capsule of that period of Japanese reconstruction. Seems like there is a English dubbed soundtrack for it on DVD as well but can't remember for sure. I opted to watch it in the original French and just read the subtitles as the acting is more real. :-)

I usually watch Asian horrors but I did see a good drama called 20 30 40. The movie flits between 3 women one who's 20 , one who's 30 and the other who is 40 and it's about their lives at that time.

"Sino Ka Man," is a good Asian drama also is "Pangako Say Yo." These are really good television shows if you're from the Philippines. Do you know Batista, the wrestler, and Rob Sniter, the movie star, are half Filippino.

I like those dramas, too. It seems you're into romantic comedies such as I am. Try Sweet 18 (kdrama), Devil Beside You (twdrama), My Lovely Kim Sam Soon (kdrama), My Girl (kdrama).
