Aren't "dude ranches" for cowboy wannabes (I'm not anti-Bush, to me he seems like a decent guy, but I have wondered this myself, he went to a New England prep school, Yale and Harvard). I can understand that he likes Texas (I do to), but if I were to move there, I would still be an East Coast dude.

He was born in Connecticut just likes his father and grandfather. Bush is a northerner, the family moved to Texas later but he went to Andover boarding school in Massachusetts. He went to Yale and Harvard. Bush is a northerner, a preppie trying to act like one of the guys. His roots can be traced to his ancestors who settled in New England. This is another way of getting votes-acting like you belong-George Allen was born and raised in California but he acts like a Virginian. They fool people into voting for them with their cowboy boots and hats. Is just another way of getting votes from the southerners.

We've been asking that same question in Texas for years. He's a poser, a wannabe, fake Texan. There is something peculiar about a wealthy man that attempts to act as a common man.

He lived most of his life in TX- he was the TX gov, in fact. The TX gov is actually very weak... which is probably why he was unprepared for the presidency... that, and he only has 3 or 4 brain cells....
