Mike Tyson was recently arrested for a DUI and cocaine possession. Famous people seem to be particularly prone to the disease of addiction. I'm sure there are other famous people out there that have problems. Then again, is it fair to hold them to a higher standard? Most people are addicted to something after all.

Perhaps celebrities are more prone to addictions because so much of their existence is centered on gaining attention and approval. If someones need is that great, that they're willing to put up with the paparazzi, the stalkers, the critics, and all the other negatives that come hand in hand with fame...then I'd suppose them to be emotionally "needy" souls, in general.

Good question. Fame does have a price. Sometimes a tragically high one.

Mike Tyson has been arrested so many times.
And he still comes back.
Celebrities buy their way out of trouble.
If we did 1/4 of what some have done . we would never see day light because we would be put so far in a hole.
we would never dig our way out.
Morton Downey JR, is another ....loser...

That's true....they are human like the rest of us, the exception for them is they usually don't get in too bad of trouble in they get caught doing something wrong, we get time for petty stuff compared to them.
