You could buy him a card and put the test inside. You could take him out to dinner. If it were me I would be to excited to worry about making it special. You could wrap your test and give it to him. You could play hangman and make your answer be I am Pregnant! Or you could get him a New Years card that's to Dad. I sent my dad a Christmas card that said Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa. However you do it, it's just important that he knows. My fiance would be upset if I didn't tell him right away. He goes into the bathroom with me to take the tests, lol. Congrats!

I made a card out of colored paper. I took one pink sheet and one blue sheet and pasted them together. On the outside was clip art of a stroller, a car seat, a bottle, a pacifier, and a diaper; And " We will need these things next year." (this was last month). And then he had to open the card, which by now his face was like a question mark.. Then on the inside of the card was "Because I'm Pregnant!" I gave it to him while he was watching TV so it caught him off gaurd, but he was so happy/suprized that he asked me "Are you serious" about 3 times, and then he picked up the phone and called his mom because he couldn't hold it in, LoL.. Congrats and Good Luck!

I might see if you can't throw together a small meal - of Baby Carrots, Baby Quiches, Baby Cheesecakes...- you get the drift. And go out and by a little something - like a Mug that Says "DADDY" on it. And serve his drink in that?

Be fun & creative and then if he still doesn't get it....tell him you can prove that your Love is Real and put his hand on your belly and say we NOW have Living proof of our love..

(just know he'll be happy, but might be shellshocked at first -worrying about bills ect.) update us & congratulations...what an exciting journey.

Wrap up the HPT in a pretty box and give it to him. When he asks why you got him a gift tell him 'Because you love him so much'. When he opens it it's guaranteed ti bring a tear to his eye. Congrats, by the way! Having a baby is the most exciting thing you will ever do.

When I got pregnant I put the pregnancy test (set it on a piece of paper or a towel), a pair of booties, a baby diaper and a cute sign that said "ETA" and the date I was expecting on his pillow so when he was so tired and ready to go to sleep he found it. He actually cried!
Good Luck and Congrats!

If you like A & W, you could order him a Papa Burger, you a Momma Burger and a Baby Burger. (Kind of like the ad they have been running).

I also liked the one where the dad goes to put on his shoes for work and finds something in one. He reaches in and finds a little bootie.

How about a romantic dinner. With baby shrimp scampi and pasta, with baby spinach/carrots. Then say "see where I'm going with this". Not exactly like that but you know.

tell him you are CRAVING baby back ribs (he'll think its that time of the month again) and send him out to get your coat or something you "accidentally" left in the car, right before your food gets there, have the waitor put a note, or if you want to get creative a pacifier on his plate, and let him figure the rest out!
