I ALWAYS see white people with Butt Chins, even Hispanics, but NEVER have I seen an African American with a Butt Chin. Michael Jackson doesn't count because he augmented his chin to look that way.
Why is this? Genetics?

If you mean a cleft chin then my husband is black and he has one!!

My mixed raced daughter (father of Jamaican heritage) has an extremely pronouned John Travolta deep Y cleft in her chin. I am of mainly Irish extraction with some English/French mixed in. I have a subtle cleft but many males in my family of Irish extraction have the deep Y cleft.
I would anticipate, therefore, that growing numbers of mixed race black persons will exhibit this trait.

Its the same reason that white people dont have course hair. Its genetics hon.Apparently we black people lack the gene necessary to produce a "Butt Chin". Just we like we lack genes to produce blue eyes. Same thing, same thing.

Can't really answer the question, however I have noticed over the years that alot of Caucasians have very prominent chins. They're either large or very long. Normally it's not a cleft chin either. It looks very different.

Yes, "butt chins" are not in our genetics. I think they look really cute on guys though.

I've seen many 'blacks' with cleft ("butt") chins. I do believe it is much more rare among 'blacks' than 'whites'.
