It sounds like you were smart and playing it safe which is good. Congrats on that!! Its a little possible she could be pregnant...I sure hope you two are out of high school and mature enough to raise a kid...she should get a pregnancy test ASAP just to soothe your nerves if nothing else

Condoms are not foul proof even if the did not get broken during intercourse. Is it possible it wasn't on correctly, or some sperm dripped out of it when you removed it, or could there have been a hole in it? Was the condom outdated? The spermicide? Yes, your girlfriend could be pregnant. But, a woman's menstrual cycle can vary by as much as a week. If she doesn't get her period in a week...do a home pregnancy test and depending on whether it is a positive or negative result you can decide what to do next. Some people find that if they are really worried about getting pregnant they use two forms of birth control...like your girlfriend being on the pill as well as using a condom. If her cramps are very severe you may want to bring her to the Emergency Room of your local hospital. She could have what is called an Ectopic Pregnancy which is where the egg implanted itself outside of the uterus. This is very dangerous and needs to be treated immediately. She may (or may not) have some bleeding, a lot of pain and a possible fever if it is an ectopic pregnancy. I hope this information is helpful for you. If she has a positive home test you should see a doctor right away and make a decision about what you are going to do. Good Luck and even though it is hard try not to panic. In all likelihood she is just a few days 'late.'

Okay, first of all, quick spelling lesson: 1. spermicide 2. pregnant 3. break 4. condom

Now that we have that out of the way, sounds like she could just have an irregular period. There are some pregnancy tests on the market that can determine whether or not a woman is pregnant after only a few days. Also, if the possibility of her getting pregnant worries you so much, then why are you still having sex? If you feel you must have sex, maybe suggest she gets some birth control, so that the condoms can be used as a backup method.

First of all, take a deep breath. Most likely she is just late. IF you put the condom on correct then you should have no worries at all. Give it a couple more days. If this was the first time you two have ever had sex...it could be the stress of being scared that is causing her to be late, I wouldn't worry about it right now because that is not going to change anything. If she doesn't get her period in a week, go to the drug store and take a pregnancy test. But for now....don't freak out!!!

I would not worry. For a lot of women, they miss their period the first time they have sex. I don't know why this happens, but it happens to a lot of women when they have sex for the first time. Since you used a condom with spermicide, the chances that she is pregnant are very low. Your girlfriend should buy a pregnancy test and use it in a few days. Also, if you plan on continuing to have sex, your girlfriend should consider using birth control pills. Many couples use both birth control pills for the girl, and condoms for the guy at the same time to make sure that there is no chance of pregnancy.

She should take a pregnancy test. That is the only way you will ever know for sure. You are obviously not ready to be parents, so you should take the proper precautions. If she isn't pregnant, have her see a doctor to get on the pill, AND keep using condoms.

Don't freak out yet. She's only 4 days late. Perioids don't always arrive at exactly the same time each month. And some people can even skip months. Chill out and relax, until she either starts, or takes an EPT.

Don't worry. It is not unusual to be a few days late. As long as you used the condom correctly and you used it during the entire time of your intimacy, you should be fine.

If she is worried about it , stress can also delay her period.

She really needs you, so you better find out soon. Don't even think about bailing out on her now. 4 out of 10 children grow up in a home without their father. It's really a shame that some men shirk their responsibility as a dad. I grew up without my father around, he ran out on my mom when I was three; it was really hard because he never paid child support, and now the only college I can go to is a community one, and I'm not even sure my mom can afford for me to attend full-time. If you're indeed going to be a father, running out on your girlfriend and her unborn baby will really mess up your child's life. So, please, if she is pregnant, be a man and raise and love your baby. Fatherhood should be viewed as a blessing, not a chore.

Wait to see what happens. Stop worrying too. Worry is not a known cure for unwanted pregnancy. Just save up about 500 bucks in case you need to pay for an abortion.
