I always start with my room because people don't see it as much as my front room and kitchen, then I go to my child's room for the same reason then the bathrooms, then the front room, then the kitchen.
The reason why I do this is because I am in my front room the most and so is company. And I know if I clean the most important first I feel better that the space I am in the most is clean and decide that I don't have any energy to do any of the others. You should try it.

I always start in the kitchen, followed by the family room which is connected. Since my living room, dining room and bedroom usually stays clean, I then go to the bath rooms. The key to keeping the house clean is to pick-up, clean up as you go along. Hopefully you will have help is this area, it makes cleaning a lot easier. Teenagers rooms get a good cleaning once a month and weekly picking up! Try not to get to stressed about cleaning, there is more to life! Enjoy the family and encourage them to help you.

The bathroom. I hate cleaning and and figure I'd best get the worst room out of the way. That way, when I decide I've had enough, at least that's clean if company comes.

I start at the front door and work my way thru the house that way. Living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms. Happy Cleaning!

I keep my kitchen/dining and living rooms tidy so when I am really heavy duty cleaning, I start in the bathrooms, then work to my bedroom, the laundry room and then deep clean the kitchen and living room.

The best place to start is where you store your cleaning supplies. Start in that location and work your way clockwise through the house. It goes quicker this way and you arent back tracking. And you end where the supplies are stored. Viola your house is clean

I start with my bedroom since that's pretty much where I spend all of my time, and can be the dirtiest. Also I can imagine starting in the kitchen, since that can get dirty too.
