My wife told me about this animated movie. It featured a snake, hawk, family of quail, and a hedgehog family among others who make an agreement to not eat or attack one another while they work together to find a new home. It isn't a disney movie that I'm aware of, apparently one of the quails get killed by a farmer, the hedgehogs get killed by a truck to name a couple of details. If anyone knows the answer it would be greatly appreciated(and 10 points!)

It sounds very much like "The Animals of Farthing Wood."

Originally a book by Colin Dann, the story was made into an animated television series for BBC television. Later it was released on video in the U.S.

The snake was called "Adder." The "family of quail" was probably the Pheasants (they do get shot by a farmer), and the poor hedgehogs do get run over when the group of animals have to cross a highway. All the animals took an Oath of Mutual Protection, agreeing not to harm each other (there was also a Fox, Badger, Weasel, etc.)
