Is there a way to write a simple program that displays the same as in the trilogy 'the matrix' with the matrix font or is there already a program that does this and if so where can I get it or how could I write such a program.

I do NOT want screen savers as Ive used those before and they allow hackers to use your PC.

There are screen savers that should suit your need. You could just run a search for "Matrix Screensaver". This one seems to be the most popular http://www.kellysoftware.com/ssaver/Matrix_ks.asp There is a download link toward the bottom of the page.
