I found out that the guy I was gonna jump soon, was with one of my other friends. She has Herpes. I read WebMD, and I know all about Herpes now.
It totally freaked me out to think that I even kissed him! I have only been with a few people, and I am so afraid of HIV, I sorta forgot that other STD's exist.
What would you say to this person?
I have no problem being direct and honest.... I am just looking for better words to use than the ones in my head.

If you don't want to sleep with someone, just say no. You don't need to give a reason. If the guy is a decent person he will accept it. If he doesn't, it's his loss not yours because you will cut him out of your life for being an a**hole!

I would say to him "I'm sorry but I've changed my mind about sleeping with you" Then when he asks. Just be honest with him and tell him you heard about the herpes and that you don't want to get some sort of std. If he really cares for you, then I'm sure he would understand. If not, he's not worth it anyway and you could do much better. :D
Best form of Safe Sex - Cross your legs, not your fingers.
Incase you do decide to go to bed with him. MAKE SURE HE WEARS A CONDOM.

If you really cared about each other, no matter what happened, you would STILL care about each other.
Tell him what you found out. Tell him it scares you. It's great that you don't have problem being direct/honest, because you're going to have to be. He might not even have herpes, so maybe you could go get checked together. And if you really don't feel comfortable sleeping with him, then don't. ;]

All you have to say is that you changed your mind. When he asks why, just tell him you thought about it and you don't think it's safe to just sleep with someone anymore because of the emotional and health risks. If he says he is safe, then either he doesn't know he probably has herpes or he's lying. Either way, don't mess with that. Yikes!

Honesty is definitely the best policy. Just tell him you changed your mind. I'd tell him about the Herpes too. He might not realize he could have it and could go spreading it to other unsuspecting girls.

when you say sleep with him, what do you mean? you better just stay away from him, and when he finally finds you, just say that you're busy and stuff like that. I don't know!!! I'm new to this kind of stuff. I want to help. really

Tell him that you found out about this, and you're not mad, you just wish you would have known sooner and tell him you're not going to sleep with him and risk hurting yourself

Tell him you are not going to sleep with him - and tell him why. You're really doing the best thing. In fact, he should go get checked ASAP.
