What should I do to elongate the life of my cell phone's screen?

I got a new LG phone and will (need to) have it for some time. I was wondering if I should (is it neccessary)buy a screen protector for it(not easy), or if it would be good enough just to clean the screen with a microfiber cloth(easy) to remove any small (abrasive) particles of dirt that might find their way onto the screens. Please help.

Keeping your screen clean with a cloth should be good enough.

However, I'd check with your phone's handbook or with an on line site for the supplier for additional recommendations.

Also, don't be careless with the phone and keep it in some kind of protective case when it is not in use.
