No, that's how we learn, especially children learn from asking questions.

Some people ask questions to make a point while others actually want to open up a discussion they feel is important.
The ones who are trying to make a point generally don't give a rats butt cheeks what you answer with. They think they've made a statement by asking a question - the ones who never scored very high in grammar.
The ones who want to open up discussion and care about the answers are lending more to what Y!A is about (in my opinion). That's just my view.
Some people just want to know where to buy the best fly swatter. I don't think you can say its 'right' or 'wrong'. This all means different things to different people.
You want me to get more vague? I can do it... :o)

Asking a question at times can be wrong, like why are you so fat, or why are you so ugly. General questions are good to ask its how we learn but some questions shouldnt be asked. Use your judgement.

I do not think so, especially if you are a journalist.
In todays world one must ask questions...this is another means of learning.

serious questions are never wrong to ask, you should always ask if you are unsure of something.
