They have to win first, and I don't think they will. The Giants are in total disarray. If you ask me, what is suspect is Eli's accuracy, and the offensive play calling in general (which is now in complete transition with the offensive coordinator fired in Coughlin's feeble attempt to save his job).
If they do make the playoffs, they are the most under achieving team to ever make the post-season, but not the worst team ever. There is actually a lot of talent on that team. In the future I'm guessing that they will revert to a more manageable offense, using Jacobs as a downhill runner to play smash mouth football, and ask Eli to keep it under control more, with very few deep balls, and more short routes to improve his accuracy and lower those INTs. I think a new head coach will see this potential and within 2-3 years the Giants will be back on track, possibly Superbowl bound.

Giants would be a scary team to face in the playoffs. Remember they were 6-2, so they are capable of tearing off a few wins in a row.
They do have a top 5 RB in Barber, Good QB/WR's and a D that can make plays.
If you are looking for the worst NFL playoff teams, look at the 99 Lions @ 8-8....what did they have other than Barry?

The GPatriots... terrific....invoice B, The Tuna is the Tuna, between the terrific Ever. OR Jim Lee Howell (fifty 4-27-4), from like 1954-1961, he took my Giants to 3 call video games, and won one, beating George Halas' Bears 40 seven-7. OH! and His Offensive Coordinator replaced into Vince Lombardi and his protecting Coordinator replaced into Tom Landry lol... hows THAT for a coaching group! Worst,..... Ray Handley (14-18).. He replaced into INEPT!! He took a collection that had expertise, and became it right into a laughingstock. Hola cookie.......YOur proprietor Ran him out of Dallas... if Jones had in basic terms been an proprietor, particularly of a halfassed wanna be soccer guru, Parcells, would have ended his training profession in dallas after 5 extra years there and a SB.

No, they won't make the playoffs, the redskins are picking their game up and barely lost to St. Louis, I honestly think St. Louis will win, they are #4 in passing O and the vikings are 32 on pass D plus they will be without Smoot. Carolina will most likely fall to the Saints unless they don't put there best players out there to win the game. Green bay beating the bears is a 1 and a million longshot, And I like Philly over ATL. Bottom line is the rams are the best wildcard contender right now, and i would put money on them atleast winning that game, and giving them a strong chance for the 6 seed.

I agree with the other guy who said GB. They will be the worst team to make it.
The Giants suck right now, but dont forget they were playing very well mid season. GB has been poor all year along, and they are not that much better now. They just happen to be playing team even worse then them. I think Atlanta and Carolina are better teams then both GB and NY.

No, remember when the 8-8 vike made it two years ago, they were much worse than the giants. At least the giants can blame injuries and an inept offensive line. If they win they are in, i dont think they will beat the redskins but if they do, they stil wont be the worst.

Possibly, The NFC wildcard teams were pretty bad too.
Giants might not, because they play in a tough division.
But if the Packers make it as bad as they've looked, in an easier division, they will definitely be the worst team to ever make the playoffs

As a devoted Giants fan of 30 years, i'll say this:
They dont deserve to even make the playoffs. And if they do, i hope they lose in the 1st round.
Im disgusted by them this year.

If they make it, they are no worse than the Rams team which went and got clobbered by the Falcons in the playoffs.

They're horrible.... it seems like they can lose every week and still get closer to making the playoffs. They might not be as bad as the packers though.
