When was your last menstral period?

Well first off when they baby decides that it's coming it's comin'!
Maybe your dates were off. and if you believe that your dates are right on taget, that is conception date, then you are close to having this baby. But if you are unsure of your conception date and so is the doctors then they are most likely measuring the baby to see if it is the size of an average baby at full term. They may see that the baby is smaller than most and that's why they pushed back you due date.
I would also express to your doctor how uncortable you are and have 4 kids to take care of and that you can do a better job with a new born rather than be this uncomfortable. If they think that you are a month behind ask about steroid shots and inducing in a week

Why didn't you ask your doctor why they changed the date???
This seems really out of the ordinary - there's just no way they could extend your pregnancy an extra month unless there was a mix up along the way and you're actually only 36 weeks pregnant. When was your last mentrual period?

If lmp was Mar 25, then you're due date is 12/30/06. There's no changing that. Call your doc back and get this cleared up.

I don't think there's a legality issue here. Baby is going to come when it's ready, regardless of what the doctor says. I would think that the measurements would indicate a discrepency earlier than this, so get a second opinion. It's possible, especially if you had irregular cycles, that the calculations were off, but like I said, measurements, etc. should have pointed to a 4 week difference a while ago.

I would venture to guess that by measurements done, sonograms etc, they misjudged the due date and you aren't actually 10 months pregnant. I would however, get a second opinion. I had the same thing happen to me with my last daughter. And she still came out earlier than they wanted. Point blank, the baby comes when it's ready, due dates or not.

When was your last period? And Yes, I think it is quite odd for him to change the due date since he already should have the correct calculations from your ultrasound on exactly how far along you were.

are you joking???
that baby is coming out when it's good and ready. that kid doesn't know whether it's january first or september 2!

the only plausible explanation is that they got your due date wrong and you are only about 36 wks instead of 40.
sorry for the bummer, but hang in there!

I would ask for a second opinion pronto~!! Very serious medical conditions will occur when a baby is left in the womb over due!! I have never heard of any doctor changing the due date that late, it is nearly unheard of! Please, for the sake of the baby, get a second opinion!! Good Luck to you!!!

I think you need to go to the ER and have them check you out then go from there. I do not see how they could have let it go this long with out knowing when your due date is!!

Your baby will come when your baby is ready, no due date will change that.
