You are incharge of a grp of scientists(99 mem)who have crash-landed on another planet. All ur gear has been destroyed during crash landing.The only chance for survival for the society is to survive using your wits and the resources available for you until the next ship arrives in a 100 years.To do this, you will have to use your resources wisely, and sustainably.The crew split into survey teams and explores the island for supplies.
Team 1:The small, fresh water lake is going to be the primary source of fresh water. Some fresh water may also be collected during rainstorms.This team’s main goal will be to ensure that the lake is protected from contamination.The secondary goal is 2 come up with a suitable location for garbage and sewage disposal
Further identify and describe the needs of the crew.List how u can meet the needs &any problems with meeting the needs?How will your actions impact future generations?List the special rules/regulations 2 help meet the needs&the action if broken

0) Pray a lot and find out is spirituality is a high priority for any one else. It will be VITAL to have some kind of Higher Power to motivate and 'reward' behaviour.

1. the lake must never be used for body functions of any kind - make provisions for laundry/bathing/ in man-made pools down stream

2 Make shelters out of local materials

3. Decide which stuff is food and which is poison

4. Hold elections for leadership after yourself

5. Gather all materials from all members that is not clothing (pens, wallets etc) to assess value (dollar bills will be useless! I expect)

6. settle disputes in a democratic manner

Gosh , I am glad that i am not in that team. Nice concept.
