I have played it a few times through it is shorter than the first one thats for sure. The last level of halo 2 ends when you fight the head brute I forget if it is as the arbirter or master chief.

As far as main characters go, you play as the Arbiter.

Secondary character are as follows:
Commander Miranda Keyes, Sarge, Tarturus, and the Moniter (343 Guilty Spark).
