Corrina was on our short list of names for our daughter. I really like it -- she'll probably be the only one in kindergarten, but it's not old-fashioned or far-out. There's just something really sweet about it.

Makes me think of the movie Corrina, Corrina.
I personally would not name by baby girl Corrina, but I don't think it's a bad name. It is a pretty name, it just would sound really bad with my last name.
Also, apparently this is not a very popular name right now. The one and only time it broke the top 1000 Popular Baby Names was in 1995. In 1995 it was 986 according to the Social Security Administration.
According to behindthename.com Corrina is a variant of Corinna. Corinna is from the ancient Greek name ÎοÏιννα (Korinna), which was derived from κοÏη (kore) "maiden". This was the name of a Greek lyric poet of the 5th century BC. Also, the Roman poet Ovid wrote love poems about a woman named Corinna.

I'm not sure, I always just think of Whoopi Goldberg's movie "Corrina Corrina", she was a nice lady in the movie but not a name for a Pretty girl.

Love It!!! I also love the name Hannah Rose!! If I could of had more children, and one more would have been a girl she'd of been named Hannah Rose, for sure!!! But, Corrina, is so pretty!! It sort of reminds me of that movie, Woopie Goldberg, was in, and that song, from the 60s, both high compliments!!! Smile!!!

It is very pretty. First thing comes to my mind is the secretary at the school that is in her 70's. But yes.. it is very pretty. Working in the school system makes it very hard to come up with a name that doesn't remind me of a student. haha

It's pretty, but I've always preferred Corrinne. I think it goes better with more middle names, but that's just my thought.
