About 12 years ago, I was on a jury hearing a case of aggravated kidnapping, and attempted murder. The aggravated part came from the assertion that the kidnapper beat the crap out of the woman kidnapped. (Okla.)
The evidence presented was easy to follow, and since the victim, rescued thankfully, was able to testify, we the jury found the defendant guilty, and sentenced her to life without parole.
The defendant had knocked out her husband's lover, doused her in kerosene, and locked her in the trunk of a Cadilliac, then set a fire nearby.
It was easy for us to put this brand of evil into prison.

No but if chosen for jury duty I think I might scream "Guilty guilty" before I had to go sit in the jury box.

You didn't have to convict them, you choose to. If you feel you have to do anything you are irrespnsable in that act.
