they are like black widow spiders they wait in the wings until they think no one else is answering the question and they scan over the answers and pick the best one and try to capitalize on your answer by saying the exact same thing you did only they try to make it fancier with bigger words or they state that they are an expert in the field. Notice that they are always at the bottom of the list of answers. Sometimes they even point your answer out and say things like "thats almost right but" Don't you despise this when someone stands on your shoulders and uses your idea and then call it their own? What do you call them they're not the same as trolls. I want to call them.......leeches. Have you had this same problem?

I have had some instances where I am trying to be the first respondent and by the time I type my response, someone else had answered quite similarly (especially to very basic questions) just before I could get to the "submit" button.

But, I DO think there are people that sit on the sidelines and "copy" answers....I call them "Point Mongers" because they are just wanting to collect points and APPEAR smart.

I've actually had someone cut and paste my answer, and yes, it bothers me. The other part where someone points to another person's answer almost has to be done--if they made some good points but just missed the mark, you have to correct them, and you have to give them credit for what they said as well. Also, sometimes you want to say one more thing, and it is easier to say good answer to somebody and add a detail--it never gets best answer, but it helps the asker.

I have also noticed that when I write a long answer, sometimes a point or two I make was made by a previous poster, but it took me longer to get my message typed and on the board. So sometimes it may appear that I copy or use an answer, even though I never do without credit.

Nope I just try to answer questions with less number of answers so there's no way that i can have my answer look like someone elses.
But I've noticed this with other people
