Money is valuable in todays society. So to show someone you love them you give them something valuable.
If we lived doring the Neolithic era when cavemens roamed the earth, the we would give each other whatever was valuable at that time, like rocks or something.
Giving is loving.

Only thing I tend to spend on love is my time ,efforts & sacrifices it may take to survive it..if indeed its worth it for the two of us involved..
