Even though they're the team to beat in the NBA?

THey used to be, but not anymore. Players like Parker and Ginoboli are exciting dynamic players to watch, Tim Duncan is even displaying some flashy moves, and long time veterans like Michale FInley and Robert Horry are showing off some fancy moves.

Now, the 2002-03 Spurs were a very boring team to watch, almost mechanical how they played, the current team is much more interesting and exciting to watch.

I do not think so. I think people say they are boring because you hardly hear any crap happening with the team members. These guys just go out there and stick to the fundamentals and win. No primadonna behavior - they just work as a great unit and whupp azz...

Another thing, Phoenix has an entertaining style but when the Spurs are ready they can run and gun with any team in the NBA (well, maybe not the Mavs right now). Ginobli is very entertaining and does stuff worthy of getting onto the highlight reel. So do Tony Parker and Finley.

the only reason you detect them boring is with the help of the fact they dominate ninety 9% of the communities they play, giving them truly no hazard to win in any respect. they're painfully useful. Duncan interior the placed up can't be stopped. communities are compelled to throw 2 or 3 adult men at him, leaving Parker, Barry, Finley, Manu, and Bowen with open photos and open lanes to the basket. they're by potential of no potential a "slow" team the two, as they are going to push the ball each and every time communities don't come back. Parker on my own, in all probability the quickest participant interior the NBA, is a fastbreak. Even interior the halfcourt, his teardrops and crossovers are a situation of attractiveness, and Ginobili's contortionist jobs on a thank you to the basket are truthfully ill. once you're prepared on dunk contests and "streetball", perhaps you ought no longer watch the NBA. If what you're finding for is the Paris Hilton/OJ Simpson/American Idol episode, pass watch the Lakers or Nuggets or MTV. yet once you're prepared on basketball, the Spurs are it. the suited offense interior the league, the suited protection, the best gamers and suited passers interior the league. The Spurs are the shiznit.

Not always. Any team can be boring to watch. If you are referring to a particular game, then wouldn't both the Spurs and the Other Team (which you failed to mention) both be boring. The Spurs Rock. They are a great team not to mention a great group of guys. GO SPURS.

Yes, they are. I'm a fan of the run-and-gun style of the Suns and others teams, so I really can't stand to sit through one quarter of walk-across-the-floor basketball. But I do not think they are the team to beat in the NBA because they have had problems with running teams and they really can't slow them down. But, yes, they are boring.

I am from San Antonio, and I am a fan. I am not a huge fan of basketball but I get into their games. I usually don't watch the the first few games but when it starts to get serious I get into. So I say yes and no. Yes because I haven't really seen any games that are in the begining of the season.

they're not the most flashy team, which is what a lot of people expect when watching basketball games, but they are the most fundamentally sound team in years. they play the way basketball was intended, as all around team sport.

YES, I agree with you completely because they never make highlight plays. They're all about defense. And the only all-star they have on their team is Tim Duncan. BORING
