I highly doubt if she is nervous. I DO know however, that my son was VERy easily over-stimulated and it would make him sick. We just had to find a routine and keep things fairly quiet most of the time. He's outgrown it now at 8 months old and is often louder than his 12 year old sister YIKES!

Newborns do not generally have the capacity to get nervous around strangers. Also they tend not to vomit, spitting up is different.

Totally confused.

Yes, it's normal for newborns to vomit alot anyway. Don't be so quick to start stigmatising your baby by saying she's nervous. She may just have a sensitive stomach.

Best of luck

No, this isn't normal. Why do you think it's being around strangers that's making her do this?? If this is projectile vomiting then she needs to see a doc asap - as in go to the ER. Are you sure this isn't just regular passing up of milk she's just drank?

I doubt it very very much that your newborn is experiencing nerves. I would probably say your newborn is sick or allergic to formula is you are giving him/her formula...eitherway I wouldn't hold off on contacting your pediatrician. Newborns and vommitting is nothing to play around with. Take him/her to the Dr.

Infants don't gain the ability to have stranger anxiety until 6 months of age or later.

maybe she is being handled to much and its time for people to look and not touch. Sometimes babies just need to be calm after eating and not moved and handled so much. Then again some babies just are spitters, get use to it...Make sure she is gaining weight. Doctors can help you out too.

No not at all. How do you know that's what's making her vomit? How can you tell it's nerves?
