Hello, I am feeling called to life as a healer, but I don't know what that means, really.

I have always been one to pick up and help the injured animals, sometimes helping creatures that seem barely hanging onto life to be healthy again, mostly by intuition.

That same intuition tells me that I should be placing my hands on animals and people and relieving emotional and physical pain and injury, and promoting healing.

After researching online, I find that I am drawn to Quantum Touch, Reiki, and EFT. Can anyone tell me more about these things, and the best way to learn them?

Are the website claims true, that "everyone" can heal if they are properly trained?

I don't have a lot of money to spend (actually very little at this time). I live in central Washington state. Ideally I would like to network with others who heal by touch and/or energy and learn more about this mysterious and apparently "right" way of helping others.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated

Hi Purplesometimes

Glad to see we have another healer on the way. We need a lot help to educate and heal people on this earth. I know Reiki is very effective, but Ive actually learned an advanced method of energy healing and that is Pranic healing. It doesnt involve touch at all (just intent). It's just like you said though, you must know how to use the higher realm to assist you in your healing. THere is a technigue or process to follow. The website is pranichealing.com and has a video to show you the technique and answer a lot of other questions.

Dont worry about the money at this time, you'll find a way when your moment arrives. Any questions just click on my name here, email me and Ill be happy to assist.

"The teacher will appear when the student is ready"

Best of health to you

I am a reiki healer. I got self-attuned by reading Become a Reiki Master in 48 hours. The ebook only cost $77. I didn't have time to study all levels of Reiki, so I got this ebook------> http://www.chikara-reiki-do.net/?hop=coriej
I attuned myself so I can heal myself and others because I got tired of paying $40-$50 an hour from a hands on healer.
Reiki is Universal Life Energy, once an attuned healer sends the healing energy to themself or other recipients, the Reiki will go to the entire body: physically, mentally, emotionally and beyond and start healing immediately. Reiki can also be sent to a situation so things can go smoothly. Reiki works for everyone.

I hope this helps! The world needs more healers since there is always sickness and negativity.

If you have any other questions, feel free to click on my nickname and email me.

Nothing like a question about healing energy to get the mainstreamers to pounce! Personally I doubt that the energy healing is going to help the trees, but then I don't understand healing energy as well as I would like. I certainly do not totally discount healing energy and note that it has been used by man for thousands of years. Those who worship the false gods of science are quick to say that healing energy is not valid because it is not scientifically measurable. But not scientifically measureable today does not mean it does not exist. A great fallacy of the science believers who like to quote mainstream controlled and apologist sites is that they make the false assumption man has always made - that today's science is the pinnacle of knowledge and understanding, when history has taught us time and again that the science of today is usually outmoded in years to come. At one point, it was believed that the atom was the smallest particle into which matter could be divided because nothing else could be seen or measured. Then along came protons, neutrons and electrons and they were believe to be the only and smallest parts of matter. And that too turned out to be false. Likewise, at one time the prevaling "science" or wisdom held that the earth was flat and that the earth was the center of the universe which all things revolved around - and those who dared say otherwise were persecuted as the "woo" sellers and heretics of their day. I am certain that someday man will look back on the barbaric and failed methods in the war against cancer - where the best "science" has to offer is trying to cut out, burn out and/or poison out the mere symptoms of cancer without treating the actual cause of the cancer and truly curing it - as the dark ages of medicine. But those who suggest alternatives that are often more successful and much less dangerous are called the "woo" sellers of today. Science has not become God, nor has it replace or surpassed God and nature, neither or which are quacks or ever have been - while what is considered science in one age often is revealed as quackery in another. Just because we do not understand or cannot measure something according to today's limited scientific knowledge does not mean it is not valid.

I recommend against QI and Seichim because they CAN be dangerous.

Reiki is a good modality.

Yes; everyone can be a healer by cultivating the amount of lifeforce in their body.

I practise a modality based on Hawai'ian mysticism. You can read all about this spiritual technology on my website.
