Not all indian girls... there is a religion called Jainisim where girls decided to be nun and that time they pull their hair one by one. it is also true for guys who follow jainism they also decided to pull their hair out few times in a year...reason i dont know. i guess for the girls it has somethign to do with them being nuns or whateva thats all i know..

That sounds more like a tribal kind of thing. Since I remember seeing a video at school one time in the Rain forest, some Brazilian tribe pulling hair out of a small kid. Some kind of thing to show they had grown up I think.

Not that i have ever heard of or witnessed. I'm not Indian but i know lots of Indian people and I have never heard them mention this or seen them with less hair than before.

Did you mean American Indian or Asian Indian?

Wow India is where they get alot of hair for American womens hair wigs and weaves.

yes....i have been to india i believe its when they become an adult but its their decision.......it looks very painful
