In the movie Patton, Geo Scott, while portraying, Patton says: Remember the words of Frederick the Great: La Daz, La Daz, Tujour La Daz. I would like an English translation of the phrase attributed to Frederick the Great.

The quote is "L'audace, l'audace, toujours l'audace" which means "Audacity, audacity, always audacity."

Actually they are NOT from William the Great, but from Napoleon, " l audace , encore 'audace, et toujours l'audace", " audacity, more audacity and even more audacity", or.............at the end, " always audacity.
True, George Patton also used it, as did George C. Scott in the movie.

I believe Cod or Patton stated that in the movie. If I remember, that's were Patton is introduced to Dick's replacement.
