Who knows what's *really* going on? Maybe he is at a bar watching CNN with Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa laughing at the media circus and ongoing rumors of their lives and deaths?

Saddam Hussein will be executed no later than Saturday, said an Iraqi judge authorized to attend his hanging. The former dictator's lawyers said he had been transferred from U.S. custody, but an Iraqi official said he was still in the hands of American guards.

He is in iraqi custody, and no one knows when he will accually hang, some say before 4 pm eastern time, but some say saturday, but saturday is a muslim holiday and its against muslim law to execute on a muslim holiday. So they have to get a special pardon from religious leaders, if they dont get it they will have to wait, and they have already constructed gallows in the green zone which is in central bahgdad.

He's still in US custody but he's supposed to be executed no later than Saturday.

according to cnn,saddam is given to iraqi authorities,to be executed with in 36 hrs.rest of the story we are awaiting.

Actually, he's in US custody awaiting his execution in an Iraqi prison. I don't know about his actual execution date.
