Yes they did, a few years ago. Thats when Britney met Kevin Federaline and Justin went out with Cameron Diaz. But recently, both Britney and Justin are single ( well, as far as we know)

Its funny how people really care about what goes on in hollywood, who cares, i still dont get why ppl are so interested in somebody elses's personal business. It amazes me just how little ppl know, i mean obviously nobody knows the right answer to this question because they dont pay attention and i dont blame them because in all reality ppl have their own lives to live and pay attention to.
The reason they broke up has been said a million times by now, only in subtle ways..cry me a river was one, what goes around is another that cleary states at the end that she cheated on him. So clearly the answer is...she cheated on him.

Top poster is right, plus they only get together for gossip purposes. They gotta help the tabloids and magazines give the readers something to buy, so they pretend they have a relationship and then break it off to help those magazines make money. This is all celebrity couples too, they don't stay together because they have any mutual relationship, they're just building their breakup to give something for people to gossip about. Hollywood is such a joke.

I think they said it was because Britney cheated on Justin, and the whole "Cry me a river" video was him getting his payback of him cheating on her in the video.
