I didnt have to pay when I got my makeover and they did a great job. Maybe you should call your local Macy's Department Store to be certain as well as to set your make-over appointment.

If you just want to get a color match then there is no charge ever. Even if you want a full makeover there is not a charge, but they do expect you to buy something from them. However if you don't they won't chase you down or anything, they just work off commission so keep that in mind, if you take up the time they could be using to sell to another customer and don't buy anything it hurts their paycheck.

as long as you go in and just wait and ask them to help you find a color etc. and buy something then you aren't charged. if you call and make an appointment for a makeup application or makeover you will be, some people go and get their makeup done and then go to prom or whatever.

you may or may not. if you ask for help in finding a certain look, you most likely will not be paid. if you ask them to specifically do your makeup, it is up to the employee to charge you, or the stores policy according to the mall(if the Macy's is in a mall) or the state laws.

well if you want a full one with dramatic eyes and everything then they want you to call in advance and make an apointment but normally if they're not busy they don't mind helping out with things at all.
