Timbalands beats were fresh and different from what was being played normally. He's been around since Missy Elliot first stepped in the scene. Artists tend to "jump on the band wagon" and like Pharell, so with that being said that is why Timbaland is so popular.

Well personally I'm in love with the guy! I know that he's some sort of great producer but never mind that because he is lovely! He's got such a cute face and looks like a big teddybear. Aww! Also, his voice is nice. That's why he's popular with me anyway.
