How do I rip a movie into window media or into my pc?

I have movies I want to rip into it until I can get a burner.

I want to take and rip movies in and can't figure this out?

The first thing you'll need is a dvd drive. Sorry, but there are those who actually dont realize that somehow.
2nd-You need a way to break the copywrite protection. DVDDecryptor can break most of the older stuff but is now unsupported thanks to the wonderful RIAA. DVD43 is free and strips the protection from the discs.
3rd-Ripping/burning software. Nero's latest (Version 7) has bugs galore. Try 1clickdvdcopy for a pay-to-use app or DVDShrink for a freebie. 1clickdvd pro is my personal favorite.

Go to afterdawn.com or doom9.org for tutorials and free user forums to get the best info from experts. Afterdawn is the best for those new to ripping/burning in my opinion but both are great resources.
