The Intensive Study Floor living option is open to students who desire a more studious environment. Programs are specifically designed to target the needs of these students and include study skills, test taking note taking and time management, as well as social and recreational activities. Intensive study floors are located in Clement, Horn and Knapp.

The intensive study halls seems the most logical for me to take a look at, However, which of the Clement,Horn and Knapp halls should I consider?

Not knowing anything about Texas Tech University I would suggest that you visit Clement, Horn, and Knapp halls before you consider which one you would like to live in.

Rent your own apartment and share with friends.

A dorm can cause problems between you and your never-before-seen roomates who you may or may not like.

Also you have to deal with neighboring college kids who may want to party all the time and blast the speakers 24/7.

If you rent an apartment close to home you will be able to benefit from the scholastic environment without the social part.
