Most of them just need to know they still 'got it'. If you trust him, I believe it is better if he flirts in front of you rather than pretending he would never do that.

A lack of maturity and security in themselves. People are always going to be "attracted" to others, but acting on it says, "I'm still looking for something more". Sad.
