I don't get the whole George Clooney thing, but Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt are beautiful. In my opinion, of course.

Johnny Depp - quintessential bad guy. He just doesn't care what other people think about him, which is sexy as h*ll.
Brad Pitt - I'm not a huge fan. He's too pretty.
George Clooney - Debonair! He's the typical leading man movie star. He just keeps getting better with age. So hot!

personally I don't find any of them all that wonderful...I'm more into David Swimmer and Adam Sandler myself....but I understand those three

Johnny Depp is just a classic male specimen...but he is the only one out of the three you named that I find attractive and even that attraction is starting to wane. Personally, I think Adrian Grenier and James Marsters are hotter then any of the above mentioned.

personally im not like those girl.. i dont like any of them.. johnnie depp is like sooo ugly, and brad pitt is ok but im not gonna go crazy over him, clooney is the same way., most of my friends would agree with me too.. so its not every girl!

Duh, because all 3 of them are insanely good looking and have barely aged.
A lot of those guys who were born in the mid-1960s are the first generation to benefit from major advancements in medicine, diet and exercise technology. My uncle is 42 and most people think he's in his late 20s. You younger guys are just going to have to wait a little longer--haha.

haha it's because his personality is amazing
like someone said above.. he doesn't care about what someone else thinks...
also, he has this incredible ability to transform into the characters he plays :)
he's also pretty modest!
