I have a Toshiba laptop with Intel core 2 duo (1.6ghz), 2 gig memory, 120 gig harddrive, but the problem is the intel 945 gma. Whats the verdict? Thanks in advance

Download the demo I've linked below and find out for yourself.

With a laptop, I doubt it. With most laptops, the graphics cards tend to be real weak. Main reason being that they kill battery life, which explains why laptops don't have high-powered graphics cards found in desktops.

No. And you can't upgrade the video processor because the 945 is embedded into the sysen board, as are 90% of portables video controllers. You could upgrade your laptop to one made for gaming, like an Alienware. But that will still be marginal and nowhere as good as a desktop.

nope, I don't think so. Your Ram is good but you should upgrade your graphic card! Laptops are not made for gaming. Maybe in the lowest details and resolution but I don't think so. Upgrade your graphic card to nVidia GeForce 7+.

Hey Dude,

Best advice, laptops are not made for gaming, period. If it works, you are lucky. Video cards are ALWAYS the culprit.
